Awesome but a bug had developed

I love this game but over the last few years a bug has developed for me where the geometry just starts freaking out. And it happens a lot. Its like all of a sudden spiky geometry triangles take over my screen. Its hard to describe but its definitely a geometry bug. What do you think could be causing it. It never used to do this and yes I have it patched up to its latest version. Could it be a memory thing like I have too many apps on my iPad? I mean I get a smooth frame rate. I dont know..anyone have any ideas or suggestions. I really dont want to reinstall because I have 33 million dollars lol
